Curro Serengeti opened its doors during 2010.  On opening we accommodated boys and girls from 3 months to Gr. 1.  Our new facility; built on 10 ha of prime land adjacent to the Serengeti Golf & Wildlife Estate; opened on 18 January 2012.   We are proud to say we accommodate girls and boys from 12 months to Gr. 12.  Curro Serengeti welcomes learners who reside within and outside the estate.  The school is characterised by the Curro model and offers a proud tradition of excellent learning.

Mr. du Toit, our Executive Head’s vision for the school is to attain and maintain exceptional educational standards throughout our systems, while basing our approach on a structured and comprehensively controlled disciplinary system which will complement the development of each individual learner in our system. The educational system and approach are based on a Values-Based foundation inspired by Christian principles. Our educational development will focus on a healthy balance between academics, sports and cultural activities. We envisage a well-mannered and thoroughly prepared young adult exiting our care to become a productive and successful member of society, able to make informed decisions on their roles and functioning within the immense complexities of the South African workplace.

A Curro Serengeti learner should be easily recognisable in a group of learners from various schools through their exceptional manners and behavior, discipline and neatly dressed attire.

Learners can experience a Golf Academy partnership with the Serengeti Golf and Wildlife Estate, and enjoy the variety of extension and enrichment possibilities provided on the phenomenal Serengeti Estate, this is besides all the other interesting extra mural activities on offer, such as Netball, Cricket, Rugby 7’s, Hockey, Soccer,  Tennis, etc.
